Just read the latest comments on the death of Sally Hutton. I’m glad to know it’s still of interest to some of Iola’s residents. I have known the McCullough family since childhood.
Since my last appeal through The Iola Register for information, I’ve re-ceived many phone calls.
I had hopes Raven Investigations of the Topeka area would shed some light on the cold case. Yet, after making arrangements to meet with them, lo and behold, I’ve not heard another word from them.
I feel like someone else is playing games with our family.
I received some calls from folks that brought hope. Some were bone-chilling. And the Allen County sheriff assured me they are still working on the case.
I realize that a lot of years have passed and the case many never be solved. I have lost mom, dad and all aunts and uncles except for one. Several cousins of Sally’s age have passed on too, never knowing what happened or who could take a young girl’s life.
I still feel someone knows something.
I do thank all who took the time to call me. I know they want closure for our remaining family.
Sincerely,
Carolyn Henery,
sister of Sally Hutton,
Madison, Kan.
