Larry and Mary Heier, Colby, announce the engagement and approaching marriage of their daughter, Regina Heier, to Trent Chriestenson, son of Robert and Deborah Chriestenson, Neosho Falls.
The bride-elect received her bachelor of arts degree in communications and bachelor of science in education from Fort Hays State University in 2010. She is an English teacher at Iola High School. She is the granddaughter of Wilcid and Dorothy Racette, Oakley, and Edna Heier, Grainfield, and the late Elmer Heier.
The groom-to-be received his bachelor of science degree in geology from FHSU in 2009. He is the owner of Phoenix Geology. He is the grandson of Juanita Chriestenson, Neosho Falls, and the late Charley Chriestenson and the late Marguerite Dennison of Iola.
The couple are planning a June 11 wedding.
