Last Saturday evening we drove from Lawrence to Iola for the Annual Repertory Showcase 2012 performances by Cooper Studios Dance Center at the Bowlus Fine Arts building.
“Witch of the West,” the untold story of the witches of Oz and choreographed by dance studio owner Jesse Cooper, was a wonderful evening of entertainment for us in Iola.
We are always amazed at the talent and disciplined determination of even the smallest members of the cast in giving their utmost performance to make their show a success.
Thanks go to the Cooper Studios, all the instructors and those behind the curtains for their dedication in assuring that the young people of Iola are building lasting self-confidence and wonderful memories of their youth and the fine art of dance.
