I think I might run for president in 2020.
Qualifications: I dont tweet or use Twitter, Google, Facebook or email.
At 87, you can tell me something and in 30 minutes Ive forgotten what it was. No chance of security leaks.
Lots of things would be changed under my administration. Congress would get some lessons on common sense and be made aware that they are working for the good of the people and the country and not a political party.
There would be limits on how much can be spent on elections and if they go over the limit they would be disqualified.
Im not with the tech age and dont trust machines. Elections would go back to the old paper ballots, be hand-counted and strung. It may be slow, but it would be more reliable.
If the country is shut down, the president and members of Congress would have to forfeit their pay.
I dont play golf, so I would not be on Air Force One costing taxpayers a million dollars each time it takes off. No fancy dinners would be necessary if dignitaries came to visit. If fried chicken or a good Kansas City Steak with all the trimmings isnt good enough, they can bring a sack lunch.
My ego is not bigger than my brain. I would be a no-nonsense president.
