Since 2014, Your Community Foundation has been involved in #GivingTuesday.
#GivingTuesday is a global giving movement founded in 2012 in New York City that has been built by individuals, businesses and communities in all 50 states and countries around the world. Following Thanksgiving and the widely recognized shopping events of Black Friday and Cyber Monday, this years #GivingTuesday will take place on Nov. 27 and will kick off the giving season by inspiring people to collaborate and give back by donating money, volunteer hours, donations of food and clothing, and various acts of kindness.
Your Community Foundation wants to bring the county together as one community, raising as much money and awareness as possible for Allen County nonprofits in a 24-hour period. Each and every citizen in Allen County is the key to our success which would make it possible for Your Community Foundation to award grants to help local nonprofits achieve their future goals.
