Dear editor:
To clarify the subject of the Meals on Wheels (congregate meals) at the Moran Senior/Community Center. At the present time we are simply trying to determine if there would be large enough number of participants eating a noon meal served at the center Monday through Friday to justify having someone to open the building, serve the meal and collect the money, do the paperwork and clean up afterward. Also to have home delivery to shut-ins if they qualify and we have volunteers to deliver them.
If you are interested either in eating at the center or home delivery, please sign up at Moran City Hall as soon as possible so we can decide whether to pursue the matter further.
