Dear editor,
I am a World War II veteran. When inducted, I was not asked whether I was a Republican or Democrat but only to serve my country. Thousands of people died during that war, giving up their lives serving their country.
Today, in Washington, D.C., Congress does not have the guts to save this country. I would like to take a broom and sweep the floor of them, pick up the trash and put them in a dumpster.
My wish for Kansas would be Mrs. Brownback to be governor and Mr. Brownback to be a sharecropper in Texas.
