Dear editor,
We now have a president and first lady who are people of faith and will work side by side in trying to heal the divide that has gripped our country.
While former President Donald Trump is clearly guilty in inciting the Jan. 6 insurrection on our nation’s Capitol, the trial will go nowhere.
It would be better to force him to pay all of his back taxes plus interest. The money could be used to fight the virus.
Hopefully people will wake up and realize that COVID-19 is real and will wear masks and practice social distancing.
Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene and the thugs that tried to destroy our Capitol and murder former Vice President Mike Pence may appreciate the freedoms we have if we rounded all of them up and shipped them to Russia. Let them live under Putin’s thumb.
I loved the “Bull Man’s” (Steve Strickler) letter. If we all cut loose on our elected officials more often they may start working for the good of our country instead of their party and themselves.
