Dear editor,
As we look forward to celebrating the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior — Jesus Christ — this coming Sunday, I would like to take a few minutes to encourage everyone to take a few minutes during the day to stop and pray.
This year’s Easter celebrations will be different from in past years and some people may feel that the old saying — “Looks like the world is going to hell in a hand basket” — seems pretty relevant.
Some may be wondering why everything is in chaos.
One thing I know, though, is that despite everything going on in the world, our Heavenly Father is still on the throne.
Taking those few moments each day to pray can help bring peace and physical and mental healing. We are also letting our Creator know that we appreciate him.
The Heavenly Father enjoys you thinking of him and thanking him for all you have and will have, just as any parent loves the attention of their children.
Be encouraged today that the Heavenly Father loves you and loves that you would allow his son, Jesus, to be part of your life. If Jesus is not already a part of your life and you would like to know more about him or just want prayer, call me at 620-363-2165.
Remember that Jesus loves you.
