Ive had the good fortune to age. Unfortunately, it seems my knees have aged faster, which has piqued my interest in a stair-climber.
So I contacted the phone number of the national advertiser of stair-climbers. A salesman came by and gave us a price that was out of our range. That left us with no hope until someone told Wanda about a couple that had one and didnt need it any longer. The older folks had passed on. Maybe, we thought, the couple would be interested in selling theirs. We got their phone number and made arrangements to go look at theirs and asked about buying it.
They werent interested in selling, saying they had owned it for 18 years and might need it some time for their personal use. But from our conversation we did get the name of the brand they had.
I contacted the company, was given a price and we now have a stair-climber for about half the cost of the nationally advertised brand.
