Walter Fees, who has been chairman of the Allen County Republican Central Committee almost continuously since 1932, declined another term at a meeting of the committee in Memorial Hall yesterday. Royal Cox was elected to succeed him.

Miss Lucile Wagner, Iolan who is on the staff of the Kansas State College Library in Pittsburg, has been appointed librarian of the Iola City Library to succeed Luella Varner, who resigned last spring.

The sale of the Lincoln Food Mart, 111 W. Lincoln, to Mrs. Walter Hartman was announced today by A.R. Looker, who has owned the grocery for the past 16 years.
