A school census will be taken next Wednesday and is expected to be the most thorough in recent years. Joe Ostenberg, superintendent of schools, urges all citizens to cooperate because the information to be obtained will be of great value in planning the future of the Iola school system.

R.H. Anderson and A.J. Habiger, owners of Iola Implement Co., announced this morning that their firm has been appointed the local dealer for Studebaker automobiles and trucks. A special showing of 1948 Studebaker cars will open at 4 p.m. Saturday in the companys show rooms at the corner of Broadway and South Streets.
