Wilma Louise (Middleton) Kress, of Silver Spring, Md., passed away peacefully on May 9. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Joseph Kress; mother of Tony (Donna) Kress, Phil (Dodi) Kress, Kathy (Mike) Dierks, and Kris (Bruce) Murphy. She had eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Wilma was born Oct. 29, 1936, in Iola. She graduated from Iola High School in 1954. She married Robert (Bob) Kress of Piqua, in 1956. They were married 57 years.
Private services will be held Wednesday with entombment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Relief Services or to Habitat for Humanity of Montgomery County, 9110 Gaither Rd., Gaithersburg, MD 20877.
