William Kenneth St. Clair, 67, Iola, died Thursday, May 15, 2014, at his home.
Kenny was born Jan. 14, 1947, in Iola, the son of Cecil and Freda (Fretz) St. Clair. He graduated from Iola High School and served in the U.S. Marines.
He went to work for the Iola Fire Department and became its first EMT and taught CPR. He later worked for Beachner Construction, Russell Stover Candies and USD 257 before retiring.
Kenny married Donna Stout and later divorced. He and Janet Marlow were married and later divorced.
His memberships were Iola American Legion and Iola Elks Club.
Survivors are his two sons, Bill St. Clair and wife Michelle, Kodiak, Ala., and Aaron St. Clair and wife Ashley, Olathe; one brother, Stephen St. Clair and wife Noelle, Topeka; one sister, Susan Owens and husband Rick, Humboldt; two brothers-in-law, Verle Grittman, Glasco, and Michael Huhn, Leavenworth; four grandchildren, Abbey, Zach, Hannah and Trevor.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, DeAnn Huhn and Judy Grittman
Cremation has taken place. A memorial graveside service will be on July 12, 2014, at Highland Cemetery, Iola.
