William Charles Marsh, 75, of Humboldt, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 21, 2019. He was born on Nov. 16, 1943 to Orson and Violett (Evans) Marsh in Kansas City, Mo.

William was a loving husband and father who was very proud of his family. He was a very hard worker spending 32 years in the National Guard and 15 years as a U.S. Postal carrier in Chanute. William had several interests to keep him busy, from chili cook-offs at Elks Lake to researching his genealogy. In his down time, it was not uncommon to find William watching KU basketball or football, and he loved the old black and white movies. William enjoyed traveling and always made sure they went on family vacations. He enjoyed relaxing and spending time out in nature and fishing.
Survivors include wife, FloAnn Marsh; and son, Charles Marsh and wife Stephanie of Humboldt.
A visitation will be held at Countryside Funeral Home Humboldt Chapel from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Wednesday. Graveside service will follow at 3 p.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery in Humboldt. The Chanute Honor Guard will be in charge of military honors.
