Venita Faye Roush, 67, LaHarpe, passed away Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola, following a brief illness of pneumonia.
She was born May 17, 1950, in McPherson, to Carl and Delta (Moore) Johnson.
She was married to William F. Roush, Jr. on June 1, 1985, in Iola.
She worked for several years as a distribution coordinator for The Iola Register. She loved all animals, especially horses, dogs and cats.
She is survived by her husband, Bill, of the home; two sons, Johnathan Roush and wife Katrina, Iola, and Jason Roush, Chanute; grandchildren, Trinity and Emmerson Roush; brother, Sheldon Johnson and wife JoAnne, Tennessee; a nephew, Aaron Johnson; and nieces, Teresa Lowe and Erica Beck. Venita was preceded in death by her parents.
Her funeral will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola. Burial will follow in LaHarpe Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
