Tish Lorraine Brooks Reynolds, age 55 of Chanute, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2018 in Chanute. She was born on Aug. 21, 1963, in Chanute, the daughter of Vaughn Jr. and Martha (Rogers) Brooks.
Tish graduated from Iola High School. She married Josh Reynolds on Sept. 26, 1998 in Iola, they later divorced. Tish was a hard worker and worked at Windsor Place, Neosho County Community College, Tramec and Russell Stovers. She was a member at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Chanute. Tish will be missed by her family and friends.
Tish is survived by a son, Damon Brooks and wife Catherine Jones of Eugene, Ore.; daughter Alana Harding and husband Kristopher of Chanute; step-children Lori Gregory, Derek Gregory, Brian Gregory and Melissa Gregory; siblings Ryan Brooks of Wichita, Roxann Essex of Chicago, Ill., Teresa Brooks of Iola; step-mother Wanda Brooks; seven grandchildren; 10 step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Tish was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Efren Gregory; brother, Dewayne Brooks; twin siblings, Vaughn and LaVaughn; niece, Danielle Brooks.
Cremation has been requested. A visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at Countryside Funeral Home Johnson Chapel, 101 N. Highland, Chanute, KS 66720. The family will have a memorial service at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Hope Baptist Church in Chanute. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
