Thomas Everett Heidrick, 70, of Humboldt, died Sunday, July 25, 2010, at his home.
He was born April 8, 1940, in San Diego, Calif., to Victor and Shirley (Smith) Heidrick. He graduated from Lompoc High School in Lompoc, Calif.
He worked as a security guard at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California for 24 years until his retirement.
He was a member of St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Iola and Alcoholics Anonymous in Chanute and Lompoc.
On May 8, 1976, he married Lucille Meneley in Lompoc. They moved to Humboldt in 2003. She survives of the home.
Other survivors include four daughters, Alice Heidrick-Calhoun, Little Elm, Texas, Barbara Heidrick-James, Fort Worth, Texas, and Kimberly Guzman and Rochelle Smith, Holister, Calif.; four stepsons, John Meneley, Jeff Meneley, Billy Meneley and Joe Meneley; 15 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Jim, Wildemar, Calif.
A son, Thomas, and a daughter, April Heidrick, died earlier.
Cremation has taken place.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Timothy’s Episcopal Church in Iola.
The family will receive friends in the church’s Parish Hall after the service.
