Sydney Hal Koon, 83, of Iola, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021, at his residence. He was born Oct. 31, 1937, in Ferndale, Ark.,, to Henry Koon and Virgie (Grimmett) Koon.
Sydney was cremated. He will be inurned in the National Cemetery in Fort Scott,. There will be no services.
