Shirley Rose Craft, 47, of Iola died Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Via Christi St. Francis Campus in Wichita.
She was born May 18, 1963, in New Port Beach, Calif., to Gardner Robert and Beverly Rose (Davis) Wells Jr. She moved to southeast Kansas with her parents at an early age. She grew up in the Lone Elm and Iola areas.
On Dec. 21, 1979, she married David Craft. She worked at Moran Manor for 16 years before ill health forced her retirement.
She enjoyed camping, fishing and collecting miniature cars.
She is survived by her husband of the home; two sons, Chris, Iola, and Jeremy, Moran; a daughter, Chasity Craft, Moran; her mother, Beverly Sayles, Moran; a brother, Clay Hicks, Elsmore; a sister, Renee Hicks, LaHarpe; and two grandchildren, Payton Craft and Cody Craft.
Her father died earlier.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Memorial Chapel in Iola. Inurnment will be in Lone Elm Cemetery at a later date
