Sheila Rochelle Mann, 57, of Humboldt passed away Wednesday, April 18, 2012, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Sheila was born in Colony on Sept. 16, 1954, the daughter of Bill and Lois (Shepard) Ellis. She graduated from Colony Crest High School in 1972.
She was united in marriage to Michael “Mike” Eldon Mann on Jan. 19, 1975, in Colony. He survives of the home.
Sheila was a bus driver for the ANW Cooperative District.
She was a member of First Christian Church in Humboldt and the FCE.
Sheila enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters, playing bingo, and watching her nieces and nephews play sports.
Along with her husband Mike, she is survived by two sons, Eric Mann and his wife Christy of Emporia and Aaron Mann of Humboldt; granddaughters, Hayden and Jenasis Mann of Emporia; brothers, Guy Ellis and his wife Linda of Ottawa, Jack Ellis and his wife Marylyn of Humboldt, Rex Ellis and his wife Loretta of Iola, Ron Ellis and his wife Debbie of Le Roy, Rick Ellis and Randy Ellis, both of Colony; two sisters, Patsey Baker and her husband Doyle of Olathe and Lesa Sherwood and her husband David of Le Roy; and twenty-seven nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jerry Ellis.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, April 23, at the First Christian Church in Iola. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Humboldt.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 22, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Humboldt Chapel, Humboldt.
Memorials in her name may be made to First Christian Church in Humboldt or the Humboldt Recreation Summer Ball Program and may be left with the funeral home.
Penwell-Gabel Humboldt Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
