Ruby A. Roush, age 67, of Gas City, died Sunday, May 26, 2019, at her home.
She was born June 24, 1951 in Colony, to William Thompson and Mary (Yocham) Akin.
She married Larry Churning; they later divorced. On Nov. 13, 2008, Ruby married Dan Roush in Chanute.
Ruby is preceded in death by her parents; one daughter Ruby Elnita; two step-daughters, Samantha Jean and Dawn Danielle; and other relatives.
Survivors include her husband; three sons, William Churning, Topeka, Larry Churning, Iola, Phil Churning, Neosho Falls; one daughter, Kristi Hoard, Fredonia; one step-daughter, Rhonda Culp, Iola; and numerous other relatives.
A funeral service for Ruby will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, 1883 US-Hwy 54, Iola. Family will greet friends and loved ones from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Venue.
