Rosalia “Rosie” Badders, 82, of Omaha, Neb., and formerly of Iola and Humboldt died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2010.
She was born Dec. 16, 1927, to Fred and Genevieve Hess. She taught in Kansas schools.
She is survived by her husband, Richard “Dick” Badders; four children, Jim and his wife, Kris, Manhattan, Patty and her husband, Frank Alexander, Omaha, Jerry and his wife, Wendy, Omaha, and Dan and his wife, Anne, Livermore, Calif.; eight grandchildren: Andy and his wife, Rachael, and Ally, Angela and Melanie, Cody and Chelsea and Nicholas and Pascale; and nieces and nephews.
Two sisters, Frances Johnson and Nora Shepard, and a brother, Elmer Hess, died earlier.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday with a vigil service at 8 p.m. at West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd., Omaha. 
Mass of Christian burial will be at 10 a.m. Thursday Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 118th and Valley in Omaha. Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Park Cemetery, Omaha.
