Roberta went to be with the Lord on Dec. 5, 2016. She was born Aug. 7, 1945, to Keith and Norene Hobart in Trenton, Mo. She moved to Kansas at a young age and eventually settled on a farm in Moran.
After high school she attended business school in Topeka. She worked at Forbes Credit Union, where she met Larry. Roberta and Larry were married in 1973.
She will be deeply missed by her husband, Larry; daughter, Stacey; son, Brian (Jensi); stepchildren, Vicki and David; 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Roberta was preceded in death by her parents, Keith and Norene Hobart. Heaven is brighter today with her presence.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, 420 North Nevada Ave., Colorado Springs, CO 80903.
A reception will follow the services at the church. Private inurnment will take place in Moran at a graveside service at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017. A reception will follow.
