Peggy Sue Wadkins, 52, Iola, died Friday, Dec. 30, 2011, at Allen County Hospital.
She was born July 1, 1959, in Kansas City, Kan., the daughter of Sidney and Leola (Gamble) Dyche. She grew up in the Bonner Springs area. On Aug. 2, 1981, she married Raymond Wadkins. She moved to Iola 20 years ago from Spring Hill, La..
Peggy was a homemaker and mother. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband survives, as do two children, Michael Dyche and wife Sarina, Iola, and Leola Wadkins, Iola; two grandchildren, Evelina and Phyllip Dyche; her mother, Leola Boyd, Olathe; three brothers, Charles Dyche and Scott Dyche, both of Ottawa, and Brian Dyche, Olathe; and two sisters, Brenda Swanson, Ottawa, and Laura Todd, Belleview, Neb.
She was preceded in death by her father, Sidney Diche, and stepfather, William Boyd.
Cremation has taken place. Private family services will be held later.
