Peggy graduated from Marmaton Valley High School, Moran, in 1971. She and Larry Ross were married on Jan. 8, 1972, in Iola, and were blessed with 46 years of marriage.
Peggy was a lifelong resident of Moran, except when traveling with her parents as a child. She was a member of the Moran Presbyterian Church and later attended Hope Chapel for many years. Notably, she was a member of the Moran American Legion Auxiliary for 50 years and a member of the Sunshine Club at the time of her death.

The group turned into the Moran Bible Study Group in which she was active until becoming ill.
Peggy was a quilter, enjoyed crocheting, working on scrapbooks, and always had a project she was working on! Most recently the family relished working on barn wood projects, making gifts for friends and relatives. Her early hobbies included making dresses for the ladies in her church, along with wedding and bridal attire. She then resumed her sewing hobbies to make outfits for her beloved granddaughter, Nova Ross.
Peggy’s career, her work-life consisted of being an administrative assistant at the Allen County Courthouse and Iola Chamber of Commerce. Current years included a fulfilling opportunity working for the Back Forty Antique Shop in Moran. Although she never considered this work as it was her guilty pleasure being amongst the antiques and local shoppers.
