Pauline “Paud” Isabell Baldwin, formerly of Chanute, passed away peacefully on Friday, Feb. 3, 2017, at 1:55 a.m. at Windsor Place in Coffeyville. Pauline Baldwin was born on Oct. 31, 1921 to her parents Arthur and Leona Hutton near Mildred.

On April 23, 1960, Pauline married Roy Baldwin in Miami, Okla. Roy preceded her in death on June 21, 1995. She also had previous marriages to Park Tidd and Max McClay.

Pauline attended high school in Mildred, and worked a few jobs including waitressing at a restaurant, but for most of her life she worked at home raising her family. In her free time she enjoyed cooking, quilting and sewing and especially dancing. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Chanute.

Pauline is survived by her daughter, Karlene (McClay) Goeringer, Oklahoma City; her sons, Roger Tidd, Arlington, Texas, and Ronnie Tidd, Iola; her grandchildren, Debbie Spickard, Macon, Mo., Paula Oast, Kingfisher, Okla., Gwen Troxell, Palisade, Colo., Debbie Kanehl, Arlington, Cindi Tidd, Arlington, and David Goeringer, Chanute; as well as 12 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Roy; a granddaughter, Ronda Tidd; brothers Lonny Hutton, Raleigh Hutton and “Runt” Hutton; and sisters Lillian Murphy, Dorothy Carnahan, and Naomi Rawlings.

A visitation will be held at Countryside Funeral Home, Johnson Chapel in Chanute from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in Chanute. Memorials have been suggested to the Church of Christ in Chanute. Online condolences may be left at www.countrysidefh.com.
