Nova M. Wright, 89, of Blue Mound, died Monday, July 12, 2010, at Mercy Health Center in Fort Scott.
She was born July 8, 1921, in Selma, to Roy and Malinda Fetters Miller.
She married Earnest I. Wright in 1945. He died in June 1998.
She was a retired schoolteacher following a 30-year career at the Blue Mound Grade School. She was a past member of The Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include a son, Vern Wright, Blue Mound; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; a daughter-in-law, Vicki Wright; and two stepgrandchildren.
A son, Gene, three brothers and one sister died earlier.
Following cremation, Retta Smith will officiate at memorial services at 1 p.m. Friday in Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel. Burial will follow in the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Scott.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until service time at the Bronson funeral home.
