Norma B. Cation, 77, of LaHarpe died Saturday, Jan. 14, 2012, at Windsor Place Nursing Center in Iola.
Norma was born in Decatur, Ark., on Aug. 1, 1934, the daughter of Arthur and Laura (Hoffman) Gericke.
She was united in marriage to Donald Cation on May 6, 1952, in Bentonville, Ark. He preceded her in death on Dec. 25, 2005.
Norma was a professional seamstress, working at Fruhauf in Wichita and H.L. Miller & Son in Iola. She was an avid gardener and bird watcher and loved to care for children.
She is survived by three sons, Douglas, El Dorado, Keith, Augusta, and Kevin, LaHarpe, and two granddaughters, two great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place, and a private service was held.
