Myrna Rose Faulhaber, 72, Iola, passed away Saturday, Sept. 26, 2015, at Allen County Regional Hospital.
Myrna was born Nov. 18, 1942, in Blue Mound, the daughter of Russell and Beulah (Bowman) Krull. She grew up in the Blue Mound area.
On Dec. 24, 1959, Myrna married Gary F. Faulhaber in Harding. They have made their home in Iola since then. Myrna worked as an office administrative assistant for USD 257, Allen County Community College and Drs. Hull, Walter & Stone in Iola.
She was a member of St. John’s Catholic Church in Iola, the church altar society and cancer support group. Myrna enjoyed quilting, watching the Kansas City Royals and KU Jayhawk basketball.
Survivors are her husband of 55 years, Gary Faulhaber; four children, Teresa Ligon, Iola, Kevin Faulhaber (Tammi Frazell), Wichita, Bruce (Staci) Faulhaber, Iola, and Justin (Terri) Faulhaber, Harrisonville, Mo.; three siblings, Howard (Marsha) Krull, Coon Rapids, Minn., Larry (Joyce) Krull, Lawrence, and Thelma Orton, Humboldt; 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Dale Orton, great-grandson Brayden Yocham and niece Kammy Brammeier.
Rosary will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Iola.
Visitation will follow the rosary at St. John’s Parish Hall.
Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. John’s Catholic Church in Iola.
Burial will be at St. John’s Cemetery in Gas.
