Former Bronson resident Mary Wilhelmenia Stewart, 89, died Monday, April 4, 2011, at Moran Manor. 
She was born May 23, 1921, to Elizabeth and Edwin Wolf. She attended Dry Ridge School and Bronson High School. 
She was a member of Four Square Church in Bronson when she was a youth. Later, she was a member of Bronson Baptist Church and in her later years was a member of Bronson United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Bronson Order of the Eastern Star. 
At the age of 16 on Nov. 30, 1937, she married Roy L. Stewart. He died in April of 2007. 
She drove a school bus for USD 235 in Uniontown for several years. She liked flowers and talking on the telephone.
Survivors include her children, Katherine Guss, Fort Scott, Bonnie M.C. Stewart and her husband, Jim Grey, Emporia, Alan Stewart and his wife, Charlotte, Bronson, Darlene Stewart and her husband, Frank, Kincaid, and Serena McAnulty and her husband, Randy, Bronson; a sister, Anor Lemmon, Fort Scott; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. 
A brother, Owen Popp, a daughter, Debbie Stewart, a son, Clinton Stewart, a son-in-law, Vernon Guss, and two grandchildren, died earlier.
The Revs. Paul Rooks and Chub Bolling will conduct funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Bronson United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Bronson Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel.
