Mary Alice Lawson, 63, of LaHarpe died Friday, May 6, 2011, at the University of Kansas Medical Center in Kansas City.
She was born Feb. 20, 1948, in Detroit, Mich. She enjoyed her family and considered everyone she met a friend.
She is survived by two brothers, Tom and Johnny Bennett, California; three children, Dave Bowman, LaHarpe, Anna Meadows, Fresno, Calif., and Eddy May III, Downey, Calif.; six grandchildren, David Bowman, Daniel Bowman, Heather Vandenberg, Chealsae Hanson, Jacqueline Dostalik and Shawn LaMont; and seven great-grandchildren.
Two brothers, Raymond and Jimmy Bennett, died earlier.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly of God Church in Iola. The Rev. Paul Miller will officiate.
