Mark A. Neville, 57, passed away Sunday, June 26, 2016, at Olathe Medical Center following complications related to pneumonia. He was born Nov. 30, 1958, in Kingman, the son of Cletus J. and Patricia A. (Mies) Neville.
The Neville family moved to Neosho Falls in 1968. Mark grew up on the family farm, often working and driving tractors at an early age.
Always a hard worker, the farming and ranching lifestyle was for him.
Mark was known as a jack of all trades. He could do anything and everything often to a mastery skill. He was a cattleman, farmer, horseman, welder, electrician, dog and horse trainer, and most importantly, dad and grandpa.
Mark was always especially happy around family. He enjoyed teaching his grandkids shooting, fishing, hunting, shop work, and shooting fireworks.
He is survived by his two children, Lisa Michael and husband Derek, Iola, and Steven Neville and wife Megan, Shawnee; four grandchildren, Briggs and Brock Michael and Grady and Violet Neville; four siblings, Charles Neville and wife Nancy, White Lake, Mich., Ruth Cushman, Millington, Tenn., Sharon Denchfield and husband Charles, Richland, Wash., and Becky Davis and husband Mike, Checotah, Okla.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mary Lea Riedel.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service in Iola. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in St. Martin’s Cemetery in Piqua. To leave a condolence online, go to www.iolafuneral.com.
