Marjorie E. Smith, 88, LaHarpe, passed away Friday, Oct. 11, 2013, at her home surrounded by her family.
Marjorie was born April 19, 1925, on a farm north of LaHarpe, the daughter of Harold Floyd and Ruth Elizabeth (Williams) Robb. She attended school in LaHarpe.
On July 16, 1941, Marjorie married Archie R. Smith and they made their home in LaHarpe. He preceded her in death April 21, 1999.
Survivors are her two sons, Archie Ray Smith, Jr. and wife, Marsha, Iola, and Steve Smith and wife, Judy, Moran; five grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, William “Bill” Robb and Harry Gordon Robb and a sister, Shirley Sicka.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, at the LaHarpe Cemetery in LaHarpe.
