Marjorie E. Nickell, 86, Humboldt, died Monday, March 24, 2025, at Heritage Health Care, Chanute.
Marjorie was born July 27, 1938, in Mitchell, S.D., to LeRoy Mincks and Helen R. (Browning) Mincks.
She and Elmer Junior Nickell were married Sept. 6, 1958, in Iola.
Her husband preceded Marjorie in death.
She is survived by her children, Douglas (Roberta) Nickell, Keith (Teresa) Nickell, Aaron (Lori) Nickell and Linda (Ryan) Niemann; nine grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives.
A visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, March 31, in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, 1883 U.S. 54, Iola. A funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 1, at the First Baptist Church, Humboldt. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, Humboldt.
Memorials are suggested to the Humboldt Senior Center, and may be left with the funeral home.
