Private graveside interment for Margaret Caroline Lewis, 93, of Lawrence will be at the Lone Elm Cemetery. She died Tuesday, March 8, 2011, at Brandon Woods at Alvamar.
She was born July 12, 1917, in Vail, Iowa, to Joseph and Emma Turner Patrick.
She had lived in Lawrence since 2000 moving there from Manhattan. She was a longtime seamstress.
Lewis was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church in Iola.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Herschel D. Lewis and his wife, Donna, of Lawrence, a sister, Helen Perkins, Moran, and two grandsons, Patrick Lewis and Jarod Lewis.
