LuCeil Mae Wright, age 86, formerly of Humboldt, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019, in Shawnee. She was born on Sept. 8, 1932, in Braymen, Okla., the daughter of Fred and Lola (Bechtel) Awalt.
LuCeil graduated from Humboldt High School in 1950. On Sept. 17, 1950, she married Cecil Wright in Yates Center. She was a member of Humboldt United Methodist Church.
LuCeil is survived by daughters Cindy Ashlock of Erie and Vinita Hilburn of Shawnee; sisters Lorraine Barr of Wichita and Pauline Guzzardo of Palm City, Fla.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
LuCeil was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cecil, and grandson, Nick Angelo.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Humboldt United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Yates Center Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at: www.countrysidefh.com.
