Lois Irene Hill, 57, Iola, passed away Saturday, Feb. 6, 2016 at her home.
Lois was born Aug. 26, 1958, in Garnett, the daughter of John and Blanche (Henry) Lewis. She grew up in Neosho Falls before the family moved to Humboldt, where she graduated from high school. Lois married Jackie D. Ridge and they made their home in Humboldt. They had two children and later divorced. On Oct. 26, 1990, she married L.C. Hill in Neosho Falls. They made their home in Iola.
Survivors include her husband of 25 years, L.C. Hill; a daughter, Sarah Stogsdill and husband Jay, Iola; one daughter-in-law, Desiree Ridge, Iola; two sisters, Joan Diver, Augusta, and Mary Wade, Petrolia; and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Paul Ely Ridge and her brother, William E. Lewis.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel in Iola. Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial to follow in Cedarvale Cemetery in Neosho Falls.
