Larry Dean Stockebrand, 68, died at his home in Yates Center on Friday, April 11, 2025.
Larry was born as Larry Dean Fencl, on Dec. 25, 1956, in Iola, to Carolyn Ann (Johnson) Fencl and James Lindberg Fencl. His mother married Deed Stockebrand, who adopted Larry.
Larry married Janet Brilke in 1983.
He is survived by his mother, Carolyn; sons, Eric (Michelle) Stockebrand of Pittsburg, Steven (Sabra) Stockebrand of Piqua and Paul (Donicia) Stockebrand, Beloit; three grandchildren, six siblings and many other relatives.
Services for Larry will be at 10 a.m. Monday, April 21, at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola. Burial will immediately follow at Turkey Creek Cemetery in northwest Woodson County. The family suggests memorials be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, and these may be left in the care of the funeral home.
