Larry Isaac, Jr.

Larry Eugene Isaac, Jr., 51, died at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, Mo., Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013.

Larry was born Dec. 27, 1961, at Iola to Larry Eugene Isaac, Sr., and Carolyn Lee (Womack) Isaac. He graduated from Shawnee Mission NW High School in 1980. 

He has lived in Lamar since 2005, moving from Kansas City. Larry was a self- employed craftsman, remodeling kitchens and baths in high-end homes. He was an aviation enthusiast, especially historic planes and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.

Larry is survived by his parents, Larry and Carolyn Isaac, Lamar, Mo.; one brother, Evart and Gina Isaac, Lamar, Mo.; one sister, Susie and Ross Knierim, Lockwood, Mo.; six nieces and nephews, Rodney, Tiffany, Will, Brenna, Emily, and Kyle; and 10 great-nieces and nephews.

Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Lamar, Mo., with the Rev. Pat Teter officiating. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery, Iola.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at Daniel Funeral Home.
