Kris DeVoe
Kris Tina DeVoe, 28, of Kincaid died Friday, June 4, 2010, at New Strawn, the result of an automobile accident that also claimed the lives of her daughter, Payton DeVoe, 4, and her niece, Lexie Tolbert, 8.
She was born July 23, 1981, in Garnett, to Calvin and Patricia (Kelley) DeVoe. She grew up in the area and attended Anderson County High School.
She was a homemaker. She liked animals, especially elephants.
She is survived by four sons, Kurt Thomas, Pattrick DeVoe, Martin Calvey and Skyler Kilpatrick; two daughters, Lexis Calvey and Megan Kilpatrick; her parents, Calvin and Patricia DeVoe; a brother, Matthew DeVoe; three sisters, Kayla DeVoe, Rachel Skaggs and her husband Daniel, and Jessica DeVoe and fiance Steven Anderson, all of Kincaid; her grandmothers, Gloria Lanphere, New York, and Shirley DeVoe, Garnett; two nephews, Seth Skaggs and Nicholas Skaggs, and one niece, Alyssa Skaggs.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel in Garnett. Inurnment will follow at Kincaid Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Garnett.
