Glenna “Kaye” (Gifford) Tatman, 59, passed away peacefully at her home in Iola on Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.
Kaye was born Jan. 26, 1954, in Wichita, the daughter of Glenn F. and Lolita “Dell” (Pierce) Gifford. On June 21, 1979, she married Donald W. Tatman and the couple was blessed with four children: Timothy, Angela, Andrea and Brandon.
She was a member of First Christian (DOC) Church in Yates Center.
Kaye is survived by her husband Don; her sons, Timothy and Stephanie, Kiowa, Okla., and Brandon, Iola; her daughters, Angie Tatman and Eric B’Hymer, Iola, and Andrea Tatman and Brandon Weide, Iola; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew, Timothy, Tegan, Emma, Madison, Trevor and Tylen; a brother, Kenneth Gifford, Hutchinson; and a sister, Brenda Peterson,Topeka.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece, Jan Kind.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Waugh-Yokum & Friskel Chapel, Iola.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Fellowship Regional Church, Iola. Burial will be at Yates Center Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or American Diabetes Association and left with the funeral home.
