Judy C. Kinman White was born Nov. 19, 1942, in Iola, to Louis G. and Kizzie A. Kinman. She attended grade school in Gas and Estes Park, Colo. She attended high school in Iola and received her associate degree from Iola Junior College.
Judy married Boyd E. White in 1962 in the Presbyterian Church in Iola, and they spent 48 years together before Boyd passed in 2011. While Boyd was in the Navy, they lived in Hawaii, before moving back to Kansas to start their family.
Judy passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 72. Left to cherish her memory are her children Lori VanFleet (Larry), Basehor, Boyd White (Becky), League City, Texas; her brother, Louis G. Kinman II (Christy and family); five grandchildren, Rachel, Megan, Curt, Kizzie and Jenna; and several other family members and friends.
A celebration of life will take place at a later date followed by graveside services at Big Creek Cemetery in Burlington in July. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepherd Hospice, 11253 Strang Line Rd., Lenexa, KS 66215.
