Joseph L. Shrum, age 60, of Iola, died at his home on March 17, 2018. He worked as a custodian for the Iola schools for 38 years. A memorial service will be at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at the First Assembly of God Church, 1020 Carpenter St., Iola. Private inurnment will be at a later date in Highland Cemetery, Iola.
