Jimmy Lewis Jensen, 61, of Neosho Falls, lost his life on Tuesday, June 5, 2018, following a long battle with cancer.

He was born July 4, 1956, in Iola, the son of Lewis and Mary Jane (Stephens) Jensen.

He graduated from Yates Center High School in 1974 and made a lifelong career in the oil fields of Kansas. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but, most of all, he loved spending time with his friends of which he had many.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Chris Jensen, of Yates Center; and a sister, Lisa O’Brien, of Neosho Falls.

Jimmy leaves his son, Cody McCullough; three sisters, Durenda Frye of Yates Center, Debby Carlyle of Independence, and Tammy McHone of Yates Center; many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.

Cremation is planned. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018, at Campbell Funeral Home in Yates Center.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside Golf Course or Friends for Life and may be sent in care of Campbell Funeral Home.
