Jessie Jefferis-Ross
Jessie Mae Jefferis-Ross, 83, died Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Medicalodges Nursing Center in Fort Scott. Jessie was born on Dec. 1, 1935, on the family farm near Bronson, to Raymond Jackson and Bertha (Colgin) Jackson.
Jessie was preceded in death by a son, Marvin “Ikey” Zornes; and a daughter, Paula Morrow.
Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Wolfe, Moran, and Tina Jones, Moran; and other relatives.
A visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Sunday in The Venue at Feuerborn Family Funeral Service, Iola. A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday n the Feuerborn Family Funeral Service Chapel, Iola. Burial will follow in Bronson Cemetery.
