Jean Marie Townsend, 71, of Bronson died Saturday, Nov. 13, at her home.
She was born Sept. 3, 1939, in Bell Gardens, Calif., to James and Henrietta Louise Trusdale Wasner.
She had worked as a bookkeeper for a car dealership in California.
On May 21, 1957, she married Raymond Thomas. They later divorced. She married Ronald Townsend on Sept. 20, 1986. He died Sept. 11, 2009.
Survivors include two daughters, Susan Hangen and Linda Crouch, both of El Cajon, Calif.; four sisters, Kathleen Swinney, Bronson, Irene Braun, El Cajon, Mary Dalton, San Francisco, Calif., and Carolyn Higgins, Springfield, Ore.; a brother-in-law, John Coons, Bronson; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A son, James Raymond Thomas, and a sister, Lorinda Coons, died earlier.
Chaplain Lloyd Houk will conduct funeral services at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Cheney Witt Bronson Chapel. Cremation will follow.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
