Janice Jan D. Kovacic, 74, of Chanute, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018.
She was born April 24, 1944, at Wichita, to Wilola Wise and Ray L. Smith.
She graduated from Chanute High School in 1962. She attended Clarks School of Business, and later became a longtime employee of Home Savings Bank in Chanute.
Jan is survived by her granddaughter Ashley Scott and great-grandson, Kade Richardson, both of Pittsburg. She is also survived by one sister, Judith Kubler of Iola, two nieces, one nephew and many loving and caring friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Kim Scott.
She was cremated. Per Jans request, she did not want a service.
