Hope Smith, 95, of Moran died Thursday, June 10, 2010, at Moran Manor.
She was born May 29, 1915, in Moran, to J.E. and Ethyl B. (Smith) Williams. She grew up on the family farm northwest of Moran.
On March 1, 1934, she married Arno Smith. They farmed west of Moran. He died Sept. 18, 1975.
She was a homemaker and rode tractors all of her life.
She is survived by a son, Donald and his wife, Myrlanne, Moran; five grandchildren, Joey Smith and Jim Smith, both of Broken Arrow, Okla., Carla Hufferd and her husband, Bruce, Stuart, Texas, and Lisa Smith and Julie Ramsey and her husband, Chet, all of Fritch, Texas; 10 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren, Gabe Gregg and Kim Gregg; five stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
Cremation has taken place.
Private family inurnment will be at a later date in the Moran Cemetery.
