Gloria Dene Watts (Sis Jackson), age 70, of Iola, passed away Saturday, Feb. 20, 2021, at Windsor Place, Iola. Sis was born Nov. 22, 1950, in Iola, to Dean Jackson and Betty (Ransom) Jackson.
Sis attended school in LaHarpe and Iola. She worked as a healthcare giver for TriValley Developmental Services.
Sis enjoyed crossword puzzles, watching “Days of Our Lives,” and cooking. She loved spending time with her grandkids and great-grandkids. She volunteered at the Iola Senior Center, where she loved meeting people and being part of the center’s activities.
Sis was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Carl and Jim Allen; and sister, Vicky Allen.
Sis is survived by two daughters, Deena Cardenas, Wichita, Vicki Puckett, Humboldt; five grandchildren, Alejandro Verde, Adan Verde, Mireya Verde, Lissa Cramer, Lexi Howard; five great-grandchildren, Azaira Verde, Aurora Powell, Braxton Cramer, Lilith Cramer, Amethyst Howard; two brothers, Larry Allen, Salina, Bud Jackson, Iola; cousin, Debra Ludlum; four nieces, Valorie Stewart, Robin Thompson, Becca Snyder and Rachel Snyder.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
